Agree! I watched three other videos which all gave the same explanation and none of them worked. I watched your video and saw the second step of hitting the learn button on the opener then back to the vehicle homelink button and voilà…works as it should. Thanks!

Thank you these are the only instructions on KZbin that worked for my Panamera 2011. My garage opener is a Genie model 2028. If you have the same model then to do the rolling code process there is not a purple button, instead there is a button that says “learn” which you hold until it flashes purple. After that you run to the car press and hold for 2 seconds the home link button. Keep doing that a few times and the garage will open/close.

Thank you for this video. It helped me program my 2015 Porsche Cayenne Homelink garage door opener. I was able to do this even though I could never get my 2013 Panamera programmed. Had to let my son-in-law do that. Thanks again!

I don't remember doing it this way but it works if you do the second step as he describes of pressing the learning button on your garage door opener. Not sure why it takes both the remote opener and the learning button but it does. Thanks!

I have a 997 and 3 garage doors. One door is a Raynor opener fixed and works with the homelink no problem. The other 2 are Craftsman openers - exactly the same with the rolling code units. One works well consistently and I've never had to reprogram it. But the other will only work for a few times and then quits and I have to reprogram it. Any thoughts on why the one opener only works for a few cycles and then gives it up? I just can't figure it out. Thanks!

I would guess that you program the I button for open and then program button ii for close.

What do you mean by passcode? Like a learn button? If it doesn’t have the learn button then you shouldn’t need to do that step.
