I’m at the end of my rope with this. 2024 Jeep Wrangler. Following all the steps. Cannot get past step one to program the visor to the remote. I never get the rapid blink. Had no issues programming my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee using the same steps. Any thoughts?

@@JeepsOnTheRun HI! My opener is a LiftMaster with MyQ, it's only a couple years old.. I have a LiftMaster 893 Max 3-button Remote. I followed your steps for my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was done in a couple minutes so not sure what I'm missing with this one!

@@victorgtz34 you'll need a working controller to program it. It "copies" that signal.

According to Genie, it isnt the Jeep, it's the software in my remote. They suggested if I want my home link to work, but a new $39 remote

@@Lorikolde I see. But my concern is regardless of the opener, you should still get a rapid blink when you clear the buttons.

After you've programed the button with your opener, and pushed the button on the garage opener unit itself, you'll go back and then push the previously programed button in the Jeep.

@@JeepsOnTheRun my home link button never flashed rapidly. When I held it for the 2 seconds, it blinked then went off.

Did you try resetting it by holding it until it flashes rapid?

@@JeepsOnTheRun yes. I held two buttons for up to 1 min, never got a reset confirmation response. I have a genie opener with the rolling code, so ot has the learn button. After I hit the learn button, I pressed the home link button twice, holding for 2 seconds each press. I also tried pressing the home link button 3 times, holding 2 seconds each press, the led would only blink and go off. Never rapid flash. Now I’ve managed to clear all my genie openers in the process including the keypad at the garage door lol.

@@TH3_DON_M3G4 Someone else in the comments had an issue with the Genie remtr too. What I dont understand is regardless of the genie remote you should still get the Jeep to rapid flash on a reset. I can undertstand it not taking the program, but it should still reset... I need to dig into this
