I followed your steps on the im508 but it would not work I then realized the car was manufactured in Canada and my im508 is US version. Do you think that’s why it didn’t work

it should work unless u have the wrong chip. do u have a machine to check the chip? also this tool tells you the right chip u need to use and with the xp400 u can check it.

Ok you are right I check the chip I think I have the wrong chip, but at the same time I was getting no ecu connection when using automatic selection for USA but when I used japan I was communicating now I have to redo it with a different chip I will let you know if it works

You can not do this with out that scanner what ever it was your were using how do I find someone that has that that will not charge me 100's of dollars

I charged 80 bucks for programming this key it depends also the area where u at and ye some locksmiths charge insane prices.
