How to program multiple Key Fobs for 2012 Chevy Volt

I have a 2014 volt, lost my second fob) did the unlock part 5 times, I opened the door (with the original FOB) and saw the message "Ready for remote 3" right away. I inserted the new FOB, pressed START and immediately saw "Ready for remote 4", took out my new FOB, tested it and worked right away. No need to wait even a minute. BTW, I believe, both fobs were inside the vehicle when I did this. Thx for the video.

Did just that and worked great! Now just need to get the key blank cut

I only had one extra fob to add so it got stuck at ready for remote 4. Hold the start button for 12 seconds and it will reset

I tried that, but right at last step, after inserting old key, pressing start, asked for new key, put that in - it will open and lock doors , but for starting l- it says remote not detected

Try the procedure all over again and see if you can get it to work

Mine programmed the key bt all it does is lock and unlock the car. it won’t turn it on.were u able to fix it?

Mine unlocks and locks the car, it starts the car, but it won't unlock the charge port door. Any ideas?
