How to program new garage door opener remotes, purple button for Liftmaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman.

Thank you! This was spot on and saved me $148. I made a appt with Overhead Door to come out then I asked how much would it cost and they said $98 show up fee and $50 for the new remote I told them I would think about it cause that souned too much. I then went to KZbin and found your 1:08 video and went to Home Depot spent $35 and withing 5 min had a new remote working. Your video was amazing thank you

Great tutorial! It worked right away- only issue we are now having is the remote has to be very close to the opener to work. I’m hoping a new battery will fix it- but if you have any tips- we will take them!

1. Batteries first. 2. LED light bulbs seem to mess with the signal if you have them in the opener or outside in front of the house. 3. The antenna wire must be straight and hanging down, 4. The logic board could be going bad or something interfering with it.

Correction. The single button garage door opener will also work on Craftsman that have the purple button. I just did it today.

my liftmaster remote does not have a program button on the back. I have tried everything from every video and no luck. i press the 1 and 2 buttons for program mode as shown in other video and the led only flashes nonstop and never turns off. any ideas lease.

No apparently, its too old, I got a newer 2-buttom model, man the range is fantastic, almost 100 yards away, it opens the main gate, to the compound
