what combination has worked for you? These combinations are when the phone is already paired and your in the VR app under "game" mode.. Game mode doesn't seem to do anything at all, but in "key" mode that is when i can control things like the volume etc.. This is not a game controller. All it does is give you volume control and some transport functions. It controls absolutely nothing in the app itself, and that's why people are saying it doesn't work. It would probably help if you stop advertising it as a controller for the VR headset. It does nothing to interact with the apps themselves. At least on the iPhone. I've tried all modes and it is paired correctly, and I'm on my second remote now after having the same exact problem with the one that came with my headset. It's not a problem of user error. It's not because the unit is defective and needs replaced. This hardware is simply being sold as something it is not. If it really does work for games, why didn't you demonstrate that in your video?

This game controller works on my Android smartphones and some VR games. Unfortunately, Apple blocks out most of 3rd party device to control their products. Which is sucks for Apple fans. Guys! I got it working after a long time of struggle. If the pointer doesn't appear after holding @ + D, try taking out the batteries and putting them back in. This worked for me.

Dude you had me psyched thinking you really got it to work. So everyone can get the controller to do that, its in "media mode" but even if you switch to "game mode." Try going up /down/left/right ins game, or make it do anything ins game besides change the volume or exit to the home screen. From what I love heard it works great with android though. On iOS the only useful thing it does is snap a photo remotely, so you couldn't tape it to a cheap selfie stick and take selfies woohoo.

If anyone is having any problems playing games, watching videos, etc, and your controller is not working whatsoever, I think I have a solution. In the video the guy didn't explain this, but there is a switch on the side of the controller. This option allows you to select if you are using and android or iOS. Select ios if u are using iOS, and android if u r using android. So, Maybe that was affecting your gameplay. I hope this helps!🙂😋😉

Is it the same controller? Did you get it from the same store? When you install batteries into your controller blue led light should start blinking right away. Check your batteries first.

This thing presses the power button no matter which way I position it. I can think of a few MacGuyver ways to solve this, but is there a good way? I'll try taking a cheapo $1 case and cutting out the tiny slivers of plastic over the buttons... that shouldn't be too heinous!
