So my incubator is made of Sytropor and use the STC 1000. So far could successfully hatch quails. In the 2nd brood, the chicks are unfortunately all died in the egg. My humidity meter was installed in the wrong place, the condensation ran directly into the meter and thus I had wrong values and believed that the humidity is too high tried to regulate down by opening the lid of the incubator, but in reality I have dried the air even more. So that this mistake does not happen to me again, I have now decided to rebuild my incubator. The whole thing works with 220AC only the fan runs manually with 12V. After my research I have read everywhere that a temperature fluctuation of more than 0.2 C° is not good for the embryo. Unfortunately, the STC 1000 does not keep the temperature constant. It has a temperature switch on difference of at least 0,3C°. This means that if I set for example 37,5C° then when this temperature is reached the heater is switched off and the temperature drops to 37,2C° (0,3C°temperature switch on difference) so that the heater switches on again. This phenomenon is unfortunately not suitable for a healthy brood. That is why I am interested in this model STC-3028 1st question Is the exact set temperature maintained here? So at the set value, the heater will also heat permanently? How many degrees Celsius is the temperature switch-on difference? 2nd question How can I connect a 5V donut humidity controller? Do I have to connect a step down converter 220AC>5V DC in the phase cable (+)?

I have just bought stc 3028 thermostat humid controller online for my incubator but I am really confused about how set properly set the temperature because it will display first LLL when I switch on this unit to start, and the light bulb still not lighting, can you explain further? Secondly, stc 3028 has only 3 wires for sensor as I have seen in the diagram in the internet ,but this one which I bought-stc 3028 has four wires which are blue, yellow,green and red exactly like stc 2000 sensor...please help me sir,,,

Hi, I'm from Brazil and I did my eggs incubator and used one of this model. But they have a problem. The temperature from STC3028 display is 38º but on the others thermometers, is down near 36,1º 36,0º. dif. near 2,0º Have way to calibrate to exacty?
