excellent video, nobody (not even subaru) really knows how to get these things to do what you need, if the factory headunit goes, you loose BIM controls, if you swap the ECU you have key warning lights on the dash etc. it's a paiful piece of equipment. I understand that it's locked up for security reasons, but not being able to change how the central locking operates or removing false waning lights on the dash is the worst.

Can the BIU be programmed for LED turn signal bulbs? I bought canbus error free bulbs for the Subie and it still hyper flashes, turns out these cars flashers are controlled by the BIU. 😢

HI I NEED HELP. 2005 Subaru LGT. Auto to manual swap. I want to remove the error on the canbus when I removed the tcu. Can you/i reprogram any modules after replacing the cluster to MT cluster instead of AT. I want it to be like oem without having to locate an entire harness and module swap since I already know I can use the original ecu

For programs and programmers we have abrites , cpt, carprog, hexprog etc and still can’t read all modules for reading hex it’s time you need I’ve been doing it for over 20 years

Does this work with used "good" BIU's? i.e. clone from bad BIU to used (programmed to a different car) "good" BIU.

Yes and no sometimes overheating the chip can loose data in it.
