Thank you so much for this video! We just had to replace our Jandy single speed pump which burned up because the pool company had the pump schedule set for 24/7 filtration. We are a single family home, not a resort. We even questioned the 24/7 and they said that is the way it is supposed to be. Of course it burned out after the warranty. So we upgraded to a Jandy 2.7 HP Variable-Speed Pump installed on our iAqualLink system and the pool company said they did not know how to program the variable speed schedules. The pool company said to call Jandy for assistance. For me to call Jandy for assistance when I have no idea how this web interface works was ridiculous and I would surely piss off the Jandy customer service representative. Once you showed how to relabel the Speed Label, change the rpms, change the start-stop times, add another Speed Label with new rpms and start-stop times, I was on my way to success. Nice job and thank you very much!!! I cannot find where to give you cash for a 'super thanks'.

This video is incorrect and had me pulling my hair out. Please correct this @aquapoolct, you're missing a step! Let's say I wanted my main filter pump to run from 7am-1pm in HIGH RPM, and 1pm-7pm in LOW RPM, Here's how you do it. Step 1: Add "Filter Pump" and enter the full time range you want the filter to run regardless of speed: 7am - 7pm. Step 2: Add a variable speed "device" VSP1 Spd Adj", select the HIGH speed, and set it from 7am - 1pm. Step 3: Add another variable speed "device" VSP1 Spd Adj, select the LOW speed, and set it from 1pm-7pm. I hope this helps everyone.

SOLUTION !! You missed a step at the very beginning of the programming at 3:14 into the video. DON'T start by selecting VarSpd 1.... INSTEAD first program is to Select: Filter Pump --> then go to the next screen and select the time for the pool to run the entire day, for example in your program: Start Time 5am, Stop Time 10pm. Hit the SAVE button. Next RENAME AS FOLLOWS Rename:POOL to Pool High setting 3000-3200 LEAVE Spa as labeled don’t change RENAME Speed3 to Pool Low and Change to a slower speed 2000-2200 example Next THEN select ADD button and go back to 3:14 in the video and follow your steps for VarSpd 1 and select Pool High set the duration start and stop. Then go back select ADD and select Pool Low set duration start and stop. This tells the iAqualink that the system Filter Pump will be running from 5am to 10pm then the Pool high and Pool low will dictate the speeds the pump will run at the programmed times. Boom !!!!

Help!! so I did what you guys said but for some reason, my filter is not shutting off even though I have the schedule set. It’s just running all night long.

Perfect!! This worked. New pool and last 1 month running filter pump 8 hrs a day with high speed. Not sure how much electricity bill would be. After following your step I reduced high speed to 3 hrs and medium speed to 3 hrs and rest 18 hrs low speed with filter pump on all day. I will review and learn and will reduce pump running time.

I followed this to the tee...my pump will not start automatically or go off to the times I set by following the directions. I have to turn it on manually and off manually using the icons on the web page

Suggestion from our tech: Please check for overlapping schedules, maybe even delete all your existing programs, and start fresh.

Check your system time in settings. It may be way off from your local time.

This is great but I have questions. I was trying to lower my utility bill and stumbled upon this video. I was able to do exactly what you showed. But not my schedule is not turning off at night even though its set. ALSO huge sound difference. Sounds like loud bubbling now and the filter is making weird noises since I did the VSP set up and changed everything. I put every thing back this morning to the way I had it and no sounds like that. Any suggestions??? Jandy systems less than 3 years old. One more thing, this also affected my spa settings as far as power of the bubbles. So I had to make a one touch setting for that otherwise the pressure of the hot tub bubbles is weak.

We got a new pool and I noticed schedule was off what I set in web, later I realized that system time was not correct and after updating system clock all good.

Does the filter pump need to have a separate schedule with the VSP running within those times?

No the VSPadj speeds/time setting will suffice. You don’t need a separate filter pump time (as long as the times were input when adding the adjusted speeds).

Ok so I’m confused. I’ve set this schedule and the VSP Schedule is operating but I notice the filter pump icon is no longer on in the app or at the panel. Is it filtering the pool or not???? Lol

When it is running on selected VSP schedule and you are not using the “filter” program, then yes is would show the “filter” off, you can add the vsp to the home “web” screen in lieu of the “filter” if you prefer.

You need to determine if you have the PDA or RS. This video is geared to the RS format. If you have the PDA, you'll have to program it via the PDA unit. Do another search on YT for that.

@@juanrojas6596 It's not a "one-size fits all" setting. Most pools are different shapes and gallon sizes and placement of return jets. Figure out how many gallons your pool is and then you'll want to cycle that amount of water in 24 hour period. So, then you could break up the timing and rpm of the pump to equal the cycle of water for that 24 hour period.
