How to program your R27 MLT Garage Door Transmitter

If the bottom on your garage door opener is Yellow, push on your transmitter button that you want to program once, if Purple,twice, if Red or Orange, Three times and if Green 4 times.

Thank you very much my friend. Sometimes simple things are hard because one may lose the instructions for them. Who would have thought that for every color of the “Learn Button”, the number of clicks to clear previous code is different? I am sure it will come handy for someone. In the description, I wrote the number of clicks for each color of the Learn Button on the back of the garage door opener

What color is the button on Genie 2128?

Same issue with genieG 850. The learning color is purple. But no matter how long I pressed the button in step3 it won’t recognize the RF signal. Seems genie garage has to paire with genie’s remote. Appreciate with the video anyway!

@@chimojiang5710 Step one: determine the color of the button on your garage door opener which when pushed turns on the little light next to it. Step 2: go to the back of the transmitter and push that blue button with a knife or visor or even long nail until the red light on the transmitter comes on. Step 3: since your garage door opener button was purple, you push on the big button of your transmitter twice Step 4: push once on one of the smaller buttons of your transmitter. Step 5: Go to the garage door and push the purple button and a light next to it will glow. Step 6: take the transmitter near the purple button and push and hold on the big button of the transmitter and the garage door shall start moving and you are all set.

@@magikeddy9326 I think the black button is for adjusting how far you want the garage door to go up. See if there is a colored button and if so follow the instructions I put in Description

@@LTLUECK I think the black button is for adjusting how far up you want the garage door go. You may also have a purple button and if that is the case for purple you push according to what I have written in the description (Twice for purple)
