Are the czech "h" and the german "h" technically the same or should I hear the difference? If they are different - what is the differrnce between them? jzst curious ...

They are similar. But the German sound h is voiceless and the Czech sound is voiced. The German h is just like the English h.

I find it especially challenging for German native speakers to exactly reproduce the Czech "ch" sound. In German we have two "ch" sounds, [ç] like in "ich" and [x] like in "ach". There is apparently only one "ch" sound in Czech, but it's neither of the two German ones, it lies somewhere in between them 😅

Ahoj, Ana_Al-Akbar is right, the German H is voiceless. In this video they explain how to create the German H sound, you can compare it with my explanation, I hope it helps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIKrc6Bsmr1moaMsi=3YZG6CpOQ3rfzXe6&t=30
