I love your concept of leggy lol. But I agree with you on the love of full, bushy plants. Wishing you quick roots and plenty leaves. I propagated 2 aglaonemas, one in soil and one in water and both grew roots and have put out new leaves. They're hardy plants

Aglaonema definitely propagate better in soil. I had a few stems in water and the ends just kept rotting. I finally just nipped off the ends for like the third time and stuck the stems in soil. Growing well now.

A few years ago I was given the opportunity to take some Aglaonemas home from the office. My only concern was that I wouldn't know how to propagate them, so I left them alone. Oh, how I wish I had them now. Thanks for another great video. Looking forward to results.

You cut that really high. You should have left more stem on the cutting so if it starts to rot you can just trim back and still have more nodes.

@@carolbady5677 Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol 70%, you can buy it in many stores. Disinfection is important, because a bacteria can kill the whole plant. One type of bacteria can potentially harm or kill your entire houseplant collection if left unchecked. Pseudomonas syringae is a bacterium that can cause bacterial leaf spot or bacterial blight in plants. It can spread quickly through: 1. Water droplets: Splashing water can transfer the bacteria from one plant to another. 2. Contaminated tools: Using the same pruning tools or gloves without proper disinfection can spread the bacteria. 3. Airborne transmission: The bacteria can also travel through the air, especially in humid environments.
