I have yet to try splitting an anubias rhizome. When the time comes I will use your advice and make sure any separation has at least 3 leaves. Thanks.

Great vid! Anubias is really popular here. They always go for top dollar at the LFS and the aquarium auctions. I keep mostly java fern...I propagate them by replanting the baby ferns sprouting from the mother plant, and/or cutting the rhizome when necessary. Informative and educational as always!

Dear Jake: Currently, my anubias has only three leaves. My tank has LED lighting and Flourite, fertilized substrate. I hope that my, regular addition of Seachem Flourish; Seachem Flourish Excel; and Thrive, liquid fertilizer will help all my plants. Thank you for your, very informative and enjoyable video on how to propagate anubias. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar

You did not mention CO2...if you don't have a CO2 system, get one.
