The best video so far! I love the updates and how easy and straight to the point you are with the tutorial. I'll be planting mine later this week! Thanks!

Thank you for the video! I have watched a lot of others and tried to find out how to transplant my thyme but only yours really explained and break down into stages.

This video describes the process in a simple way. However in my last attempt there was fungal growth in the first week without sprouting of the Thyme seeds. I am planning to reattempt. Any other tips? . Thank You

Did you fertilize the seedlings? I have tried to sow thyme 3 times. And all of the attempts are failed. The seedlings just grow until 1 inch (3 true leaves max), stunted for a month, and then turning brown and died. I don't know what's wrong. I live in hot and humid area, I use well drained soil and water it only if the soil looks dried. I'm confused and curious at the same time

I did not fertilize the seedlings but I used a potting soil mix with compost in the first place. It seems like that your climate is too hot for the young seedlings and they dry out.

I would suggest that you keep it under shadecloth to prevent overheat from the sun

hey! after the first transplant, how long did you keep indoor before you expose it to direct sunlight?

You need to watch your plant. If it's standing tall even after a couple of days you can slowly move it outside. Basically you want to reduce the shock and make the transition gradual

I would like to grow creeping thyme from seeds, then use as ground cover. Can I plant the seedlings in the ground in the fall?
@EasyPeasyGardening4 жыл бұрын
I don't know the seasons where you live but in general it grows in spring. It can survive mild winters but may need mulching around it. Also keep pruning it for better growth. After two three years, it can become woody and may not look nice.

Hi, During seed germination or while growing from seed - what is the frequency of watering Thyme? Thanks
@EasyPeasyGardening3 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the weather. When they are seedlings, soil should always be moist not wet
