Thank you!! Who knew it could be so easy to propagate these beauties?!!! 🤩
@saqib75892 жыл бұрын
Really an amazing technique in zinnia flower propagations. Through this way we can get each color separately very easily. Well done.

great video! is the coconut coir from burpee’s the one that comes as a brick and expands after you water it? and is rooting hormone not needed?
@MilkAndHoneyAcreage11 ай бұрын
Yep that works! I never have to use hormone with zinnias but it can’t hurt!

Great video! Thank you. I love zinnias and it’s so interesting learning about these beautiful flowers. Can you recommend a video on how to breed your own colored zinnias, or have you already made a video on this topic?

Thank you I’m working on one now!

Do you find that pollinators are attracted to your pastel-colored zinnias? In particular, hummingbirds and/or butterflies?
@MilkAndHoneyAcreage11 ай бұрын
Not as much as the darker ones and they do like purple hues best.

Hi! Can you explain the watering pattern that you follow while propagating them?
@zi6959 Жыл бұрын
Awesome vid!! U said its best to cut from zinnias that haven’t flowered yet, will it work for ones that have?
@MilkAndHoneyAcreage Жыл бұрын
Yes just make sure to cut off the flower head.
@betsylyman71422 жыл бұрын
Thank you for these great videos! So once it flowers, you can’t propagate from that plant?
@MilkAndHoneyAcreage2 жыл бұрын
No you still can you’ll just want to use the side shoots and cut off the flower or bud.

I usually just grow veggies, but this spring I tried sowing a couple varieties of zinnias. I lost a few to damping off, so I was hoping I could root some cuttings!

Uh oh zinnias are the gateway flower to floral addiction fyi!!

😂 You weren't kidding.... I am completely obsessed now with trying to grow all kinds of flowers.

Do you need to put them under grow light?
@MilkAndHoneyAcreage3 күн бұрын
No we just leave them in a shaded area and make sure to give them water.
