Thanks for the tips. Just something to watch for when lifting machine with bucket...don't take more than 5 minutes or the machine will sink on the hydraulics allowing the boom to block the front door access and you can't get back in without removing door, and if you leave the door open instead, the boom can come up under it and damage it. Nearly happened to me, just got back in time to catch it.

Great video I love the channel. I run a rental store and I really wish I could find a video regarding track machines that would tell people what not to do and the easy ways they can knock a track off. I have a lot of experience customers that rent track machines and due to misuse weather returning your stumps driving an improper train they cause the tracks to come off and they always complain that they didn't do anything to knock track off and there is nothing on the internet anywhere regarding conditions in operations that can cause cracks to come off for the tunnel to put them on but none regarding how to properly operate a machine to avoid track problems. It's just a suggestion but it'd be really helpful if there's something like this in the world for people

i have learnt you place something under the rear end and boom down you can lift the whole machine off the ground makes it easier to grease or repair if need be..live your videos keep them coming 😉

I've got a 1/16 scale model of that one too. I'm lucky I haven't thrown tracks on that model yet but how it works is it's a chain link system with rubber pads.

Good video and good to always keep things greased. How do you like your dewalt grease gun? Looks pretty new, have you had a chance to really use it and get an opinion on it?

thats funny, I was just wonder how to properly tighten my tracks on the 259d and how to tell when they need it and how tight to make them. Scares me to think one of those tracks coming off in the rain and mud were are having this spring. At least were I live.

I appreciate the info. But can I add just one thing? If you're going to use that wrench as a hammer, at least use the handle side of it. The working side has a job of its own, And it's not a hammer. Thank you! Great video though.
