(Most used weapon: Trumna user here) It's not even the power of this weapon that makes it so cool to use, it's the firing sound, the reload animation and its sound, the muzzle flash and the impact explosion effect, the looks and barrel animation that make this Weapon the best designed Gun DE has done so far. I hope the Prime version keeps these aspects up.

I wanted to ask, Is it just me or has the alt fire sound disappeared on trumna after a certan update? I believe It's also when the alt fire on the sepulcrum was changed to require one more alt fire press to fire.

@@robertbayer8318Yea the last update brought so many bugs. For me the sound is still there for the Trumna but I experienced the Sepulcrum bug where you have to press two times sometimes to activate the altfire.

I would recommend you try the Exergis with Blast. Despite being a shotgun, it's got a low pellet count and very high base damage. It works very well.

Fellow Trumna fan here, who's equally excited about the upcoming Prime. I can't wait! Using Primed Firestorm here may be a wasted slot. From what I understand it only procs on the Trumna's alt fire, which given the power of the alt fire doesn't need it IMO. The wiki also states that even though the Trumna's primary is listed as radial it doesn't gain the effect of Firestorm. I haven't tested it out yet though, but please correct me if I'm wrong. I love your vids, keep it up!

Xata’s whisper and zephyrs tornadoes can allow you to one shot demolyst necramechs with a slam blast build since you’re able to multi hit them for the mass damage stack possible around 40-50 times before the explosion (just make sure to not trigger the 6 second damage mitigation gate before hand). I know that’s not the point entirely of this video since it’s covering guns primarily, but if you want to squeeze out even more for your blast procs the tools are there.

I wanted to add the fact that using Blast on Trumna gives you charges from using altfire. Alt fire will thus proc Blast on enemies which somehow survive the attack and die from Blast ticks. It often happens that you will fire your altfire into a group of eneimes and receive a full charge back depending on the enemy density and such. Brings me back to Zephyr Tornado Trumna combo.

Would love to see a list for using with Lavos. Valence formation lets you ignore status chance since you can force blast procs, so all you need is the highest damage possible. Valence formation builds are super fun since they feel like they bypass one of the core rules of the game by letting weapons with terrible status chance guarantee status, and I’m loving gimmick builds with it like cascadia empowered pyrana with max fire rate and multishot.

Paris incarnon with blast damage is amazing. I had a meme build that had 721% status chance (5x TF red shards + 60% base status on the incarnon evolution) but my actual steel path build has 155% cc and like 350% sc on normal Warframes without the archon shards.

A blast tenet spirex hybrid build along with marked for death sometimes out-performs some kullervos out there. Can be replicated on any frame. Pair it with a grouping tool and you'll be clearing two rooms with a single magazine. Really underrated wep

@@fuzzo2734 usually if I'm actively trying to farm for something I use Dante because of overguard, or Gyre because the coils kill everything before it comes next to you. Also using chesa and getting multiple double steel essence pickups, I won't go back to any companion any time soon

@ferrenberg Chesecrate doesn't work on acolytes cus they don't die, and don't turn into corpses, which is what Desecrate/retrieve target. Chesa doesn't get you anything extra from an acolyte vs any of the more functional beasts that can also carry that mod.

The Aegrid with Cascadia overcharge is also an AMAZING blast weapon. It already had inate blast but I just double down on it. Just throw it, detonate it and BOOM big red numbers everywhere!

yes, as long as the multishot is 1.0 by default then its fine. So arca plasmor and Felarx incarnon mode are viable choices for example

One weapon I'm really loving with the new blast is the Paris Prime Incarnon. With Bhisaj-Bal and the Status evolution you can guarantee every shot to proc blast (sometimes even a full stack of blast). It makes even the standard shot clear halls of enemies thanks to the bows punch-through and increase the evolved shot effective area by a lot.

Try the Tysis with blast. Not only do you have a high base damage, each dart has an absurd status chance along with 3x hits per shot. We're getting an improved Tysis with infested liches, too. One of my favorite weapons overall. 100% status chance blast Catabolist is pretty funny too.

It sounds good until you realize that it messes up the AOE for komorex, meaning you won’t actually hit enemies with it unless it hits a wall right behind one, but you still severely lose damage and the extra viral. I had a MS, CD, punch through, -zoom riven that I was stoked about until I realized punch through breaks the gun unfortunately

Depends on how big the negative itself is.. anything below 50% is a net positive. From 50-80% its still decent and from 80% upwards its straight up bad. Be careful when rolling

The whole airburst thing with corinth is just annoying to use compare to other weapons. I don't really like it to be honest.... But I agree the trumna is one of the best weapons in the game, even if the damage was worse I'd still think that because of the look and feel of it. It's sick af. and de came through with the prime. Honestly though I hope people don't really use it so my riven will get stronger. Like the aoe was pretty much unusable before, some kinda weird primer which didn’t make sense since aeolak can self prime with fire 1, but now that aoe blast is in the game this is a solid multitool/ daily driver on both fire modes on frames that can buff it a bit

Why does it matter if you have smaller procs? Suppose I have 100 5-damage procs, vs 10 50-damage procs. Isn't the end result about the same?Tthe former will get lots of small explosions, and the latter will get 1 big explosion, but I'l doing the same damage to all targets either way, right?

The end result matters fromm the amount of damage deal to the target in a single damage instance (when they die) this means that a target that was dealt 50k damage with 1 shot and a blast proc will do much more explosion damage to a crowd of enemies if his max HP is 10k. The same damage therefore is not achievable with multiple shots and the AoE will deal way less damage

Blasts do not need 10 stacks to explode. Targets on kill explode and deal blast damage. If your tagert doesn't die then blast explodes only after reaching 10 stacks

Strun, boar and phantasma are not that good with blast. Corinth is only good with alt fire, Bubonico also only good with alt fire. Generally u want hard hitting weapons with no innate multishot and high status chance
