I want to share my last experience with foundations as a fair-olive skinned guy. You know that it's impossible to find a right one for us .So I watched some videos and bouht a green corrector , I use shade 01 and I put it on my hand and 1 drop of green concealer corrector and mix them together. I couldn't imagine the result. the shade match me perfectly,the new shade is a little bit lighter and greenish,neutral and perfect match for me. I also tried this with revlon candid foundation and some other foundations as well. It saved me a lot of money to make my own foundation shade like this way. I higly recommend for fair olive skinned people like me. to try this.

It looks great! Just right for this season. Do you think, a makeup sponge for example beauty sponge will make it too? A little be dampened of course. Or will it take to much of the product?

Hmm I'm not a 100% sure if it's working with a damp sponge, since it is a mousse-like texture - Personally, I like it the most when I'm applying it with my fingers or a brush😊

Perhaps I try it with something dry. I allways heard dampened sponge. Because dry it is greedy! Do you know what I mean? Till now I had no mousse makeup, but tomorrow I'll look. But not for a too dark one! Thank you all for warning! 😃

I had the best results with a brush and my fingers as with the mousse foundation you really just have to use a bit and I feel like the sponge can help you to get more coverage - which is good when using a foundation but not for this one🤔 You can try it with a sponge and let me know - try it dry & damp, I just hadn't the best experience with it. Essence mousse foundation have a see through jar so you can see the color and depending where you want to buy it, they may have testers as well😊

I am here for the same reason as you. I have used the maybelline dream mouse for 12 years and I am devastated over it being discontinued. I cannot use any other type so looking for something similar. I ended up finding 3 of them on ebay today for 4 X the usual price and my shade is sold out everywhere. Did you try this one? or find anything similar yet?

@@lifewithisma8574 Most of the time, oily skin types don't need a moisturiser... However, you could try for example the Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide and don't use a moisturiser at all... Or you could use a mattifying moisturiser like the one from La Roche Posay... Or you could get a matte liquid foundation that's a bit drier in texture which you then could also powder if needed!
