I used to take the Grip & Last Putty Primer made by Catrice, a low budget trademark from discounter. This stuff is very similar to the Poreless Putty Primer by e.l.f. The coverage is so strong that I even don´t need to put on concealer under the eyes. I am suffering from bags, blue to violet circles and some wrinkles, cause I am an older guy at the age of 56 years. Using Concealer over Putty Primer sometimes looks a bit cakey. Very important not to use too much products. I will use the fluid primer from your demo today and will see the diference. Btw. thanks for your excellent presentation with details and constructive criticism. Very natural performance with no " let ´s party everyone"- attitude. High Quality demonstration of how to use and also some background information of this product. Well done.

@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Today I ve got my parcel with The Ordinary products. High-Spreadability Fluid Primer and the Caffeine Solution Eye Care minimizing dark circles. (Yes, from your video tutorial and presentation! ) ✌ The fluid primer is apreading all over the face so easy with a small sponge. I use minimalistic make-up as a man: just two Concealer as foundation, stiff dense but smooth buffer brush, a red based powder blusher to give back some colour and a waterproof black eyeliner for the lashes to avoid the thickening effect of mascara. Today with the help of The Ordinary liquid Primer the products are gently and pleasant to apply and nothing looks cakey. Thanks for your presentation, which helps to make the right decision 😍

Hey :) Well, you don't have to use primer + makeup, if you like the finish of this primer alone, just use that one. However, if you like to apply concealer and foundation or so on top. Yes, apply the primer first and then move on to the rest of your makeup routine (concealer) :)

Applying sunscreen is always your last step in your skincare routine and apply the primer on top of your sunscreen :)

They aren’t well liked (actually hated) in the ”skincare community”. If you follow for example James Welsh, Hyram, Susan Yara or basically any big skincare guru on KZbin you will know 😊 Basically: the wipes do a bad job at actually remove the make up and they are bad for the environment. But they are easy to use so therefor very popular

Melissa Van Dijk Sure I have! I used them quite a lot before. If I had foundation, powder, bronzer etc I needed atleast 2-3 wipes to feel like I had a clean face. And then I had to use 1-2 if I had eye make up. So I used quite alot, and during that time I also had more problems with acne. I remember testing to see if my face was properly clean, after cleansing with wipes, by using a white towel on my face and discovering that I STILL had residue. After that I started to use face cleansers (gel) and that was better. Now I don’t use as much make up so washing my face one time with a cleanser is enough but the ”double cleanse” seems to be the best way if you use a full face of make up. But its fun to see dfferent methods 😊 I like The Ordinary, thats how I stumbled on to your channel, Im going to check more of your videos. Keep up the good content 😊👍🏽
