I think you're actually supposed to cut the tape strips perpendicular to the perforation where you peel them apart, not parallel to it

Because when i went on the hair diagram's vimeo, that's what she was saying. that way once the tape is on your forehead you'll be able to peel away the white pieces from the middle of the piece of tape, rather than from the sides. to prevent lifting!

This by far is the coolest technique!! I love it! Just wondering how do you remove the tape? If you use oil to remove it will that make the hairs start to mess up (fall out) on the lace? If you use alcohol does that damage or dry the hair out? And did you trim the wide rim thing off of your stocking cap or did it come that way?? Love , love , love this and can't wait to try it! Lemya G yes I didn't have any trouble. I would recommend for people that want that extra security and that don't take their wig off every night . It's a stronger hold so it can last up to 1 1/2-2weeks

Karen Smith thehairdiagram. com...i prefer their glue the bold hold extreme cream. The tape only gives me a 2 day hold and when I use the glue I get almost a week or longer.
