Finally, someone using tape and with just a couple pieces--all you need. You can put a little piece in the back, too.

Totally want to thank you for your help, and I think any man would be lucky to go out with you. I would go out with no work whatsoever, you have got to be the cutest little thing. I would be proud to have you as my daughter!! You are gorgeous! Just like I tell women make up is used to enhance what you already have, well hair is the same thing. You would not look as great as you do with a wig if you didn’t look that good already without a wig! You keep posting and I hope your channel grows God bless you little one. He did he would be proud to say you are his daughter. Thank you! .

JR lace stretches and lifts after a little while so you will need tape. I use small squares of spaced walker tape. I use Got To Be Glued extreme gel on my other wigs when they are old and the lace is lifting. I have walker tape solvent, but after watching this I will try isopropyl alcohol. I spritz with demineralized water and scrunch the curls because it creates less buildup, so less washing and longer wig life. Walker tape has a powerful grip.

Oh my goodness! This video was so helpful for me. I have always wanted to try tape but unsure about applying and removing properly. I didn't realize it was so easy! I am going to try it! I alway use got2be glued and after a few a couple of wears I get a lot of buildup on the lace, it washes out with water when you wash it but it's kind of messy. I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and your videos are so helpful :D thanks for making them. Hi all the way from New Zealand! and also wanted to add you are just beautiful :)

Thank you so much for watching! The Got2B Glue is a popular choice, but you're absolutely right - it does leave a residue and over time it contributes to the breakdown of the unit since you have to rub it out. The tape peels right off. :)

Thanks for this, this is something I have not seen in all of the hundreds of videos I have watched in the last year! The problem I have is where the ear tabs seem to allow my bio hair to show out if the wind blows or I leans back. Directly above the ears and along the side of my temple to my cheekbone. I have used It Stays, and it does not work on the moleskin part of the ear tab to keep it next to my head. Could I use this tape on the moleskin section rather than the lace section?

Thanks for doing this video. I’m new to wigs and being summer I am not liking the “It Stays” because my wig still slides when it’s hot. I have a flat head in back so wig caps slide up but also I have a small forehead. If I put the lace where you applied yours, it will be on my hair which isn’t much to speak of. Any suggestions what to do? I got the nape of the neck shaved so I’m using wig tape in back but what to do with the front? Thank you!

For a full lace unit would you recommend more tape? Most folks do a full perimeter bond with like Walker 12 in strips or something similar. After all these years I'm still playing with new options. You never stop learning :)

How do you keep your stocking cap from moving/slipping up? Is it because you don't have long bio hair? The caps slide on my bio hair unless I glue them down.

I have to glue my caps down too. I use Got 2 b glued. But I think the tape will be better for the lace front. I was using Got to b glued which was messy

thanks for the tip..RoseMarie...you look beautiful...I have a question as i am new to wigs. i got a Mila also in color 6. the lace front is noticeable..how can i hide it? can i cut it? thanks
@RosemarieFit
@RosemarieFit 7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The Lace front can be trimmed but I would be extremely careful since the wigs come pre-trimmed from the factory so there isn't much to cut. If you have some bio hair you can pull some out in front. But a lot of the times, the lace front isn't as noticeable to others as we think it is. You may consider checking to make sure the lace sits flush with your forehead, and if it doesn't - then pick up some of the tape.
