I use a lens cloth to wipe my IP13PM off. As far as cleaning the speakers, lightning connector, the earpiece etc, I use a vacuum with the tools you buy for a computer keyboard. I don’t like sticking anything in the ports, especially the lightning connector port. Too easy to bend a metal connector!

Thanks for the video. Quick question…what do you recommend for disinfecting iPhone devices? I noticed u mentioned no alcohol and wondered if you have any suggestions. I use device for work (touching many surfaces) and use sanitizer often. Since it has alcohol I’m guessing it’s not a good choice. Thanks in advance for your reply and help.

Actually the oleophobic coating that he mentioned wont be removed by alcohol theres a Wall street journal video on youtube testing this. But you should use alcohol wipes that have like 70% isopropyl alcohol in it.

I make my own spray 7 parts alcohol 3 parts distilled water and spray on cloth or coffee filter if I’m in a pinch. Apples website says you can use alcohol just avoid bleach and another chemical I can’t remember at the moment

It’s fine to use alcohol based on the Apple website. Just use at most 70% for isopropyl and 75% for ethyl.

Probably the same thing you'd use to clean the bare display. Keep in mind that most screen protectors don't go edge to edge so you might get some product there on your phone's glass. I use alcohol wipes, but I'm thinking of an alcohol free product so I don't end up with a stripped bezel.

@@Progan666 yup I would always use alcohol wipes and I have a screen protector that has the notch cut out, and after a year of using the phone and wiping it I cracked the screen protector by a drop and went I changed it the oleophobic coating on the bezel and notch was gone so there was a visible mark on the screen even if I wipe it, it goes away but the second I run my finger across the top you can see where the coating wore off.

Apple updated their website you can use 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe, 75-per cent ethyl alcohol wipe or disinfectant wipes, you may gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your iPhone. I use hand gel 60% Alcohol with microfibre cloth to lightly clean my iPhones .. only put slight amount on the cloth.

Dude. Iphone is IP68. That means it is safe under water in 1m depth for 30 min. So just wash it in the sink like your watch
