What took me years and years to figure out on my own, costing me tons of $$, you covered all in this one incredible video. Thanks Matt! So stoked for the season!

Glad to hear I follow the same layering protocol as the pros, light-weight breathable water proof pants with varying levels of base layers depending on outside temps that day. Such a game changer from the days, and logic, of wearing multiple layers including jeans under snow pants.

Or even jeans AS snow pants 😆

Been a beginner I’ve been using the Arc’teryx atom LT as my outer jacket but it may be a good mid layer with a hard shell outside

Good call, the Atom was definitely designed to be more of a layering piece. They added some water repellency for people who want to wear it as a casual jacket

Hey, thanks for the video. I mainly want to know for Lake Tahoe in California. What should I wear for a base layer on my legs? I have the Ortovox 3L bib, and I have a long sleeve will base layer for the top and I have a Helly Hansenshell which fits like a dream. I also got a wolf so my top core will be warm. I think that’ll work for most days. But what about my legs? Or Lake Tahoe snowboarding, am I going to need a base lay on my legs will not be too hot?
