These are so cool? About to order a couple. I'd like to see the maxium extended dimensions for the lights along with the other useful dimensions posted on your site. This would be useful for odd-sized tanks and in case one wants a smaller fixture on a larger tank.

Bought the 42in one. Very happy with it. The one feature I miss from fluval was the self timing. Maybe the mode button could have two extra modes for cycling. One of them could have the white light on for a fixed number of hours and then switch to blue mode for the remainder. The other mode could be the same but cycles to off instead of blue for the time between white light triggers.

Is the length on the box with the brackets fully extended, or fully compressed?

The length on the 3 footer box is the compressed length ( but i assume that would be for all models? )

I need to know before i buy this light for my future 10g aqueon standard tank. I will be getting the versa top for it the light should fit good on top even with those 2 plastic long pieces that fit on both sides of the tank?

It would be so much better if it had a built in timer like most lights have. I miss the 24/7 feature that most other lights have too.
