I am apart of an African dwarf frog page that says you shouldn’t keep any bigger snails like nerite or mystery with them bc the snails can grab them. What is your thoughts/input/ experience on this?

I'm always happy to hear tips on things like this, even after years of keeping shrimp. Lifelong learners 🙏 thanks for sharing your insights 🙂

This was great information. I didn’t realize it took Java Fern months to look good.

From my experience they grow best in driftwood that have been submerged for more than a year, and also, in a no filter tank.

I can't watch your videos with that popping sound effect. It makes my dogs go crazy. Please quit putting it in the videos.

So if he doesn't want water flow, does he use air pump? How does he supply enough air for bacteria and fish?

Love the video, thanks for the short, yet detailed ACTIONABLE information! As someone currently doing a dark start on my soon to be planted tank, this has helped inform me of what I’ll need to be prepared for!

I leave the light off my aquarium in the spring/summer it gets indirect light from a window that is diagonal from it then in the fall winter I turn the light on via timer for 6 hours. My one little fern that I bought at pet smart is a huge clump now and it’s beautiful. It tends to get black algae if I give it too much light. The Cories love hiding in it.

Hey Cory! What do you think about Celestial danios, clown killifish, and pygmy cories for a new to the hobby person in a 75 gallon tank with live plants? Throw in some nerite snails and amano shrimp too :)

I love that! My tank is sand but no soil underneath. So my stems plants & others that need soil I have in planters. I went with glass bc it blended in well. I love the rock design!!!!

I been thinking adding Java ferns, Bolbitis and Java moss for 32 gallon Fluval flex setup for my African clawed frog. One thing I’m worried is does the fertilizer will harm the aquatic amphibians.

Awesome video. Big fan of this type of video. Would love one on every plant you sell. You’re taking some of the guess work out of things, so I really appreciate your work.
