When I trim like this or go to the barber it only looks like this until I shower. I’m not convinced this sort of trimming does much good aside from the day it’s done on. Next day is back to stray hairs. Best to let them all grow long imo

Maybe you need to style it after too. Wash and condition it and then brush it down and use balm

Agreed, its because it only works if your hair is in the EXACT same position as when you cut it. Which is ofc impossible after a shower. I recommend to blowdry it before cutting just blowdry it all into the same direction then trim and cut a little bit so their the same length. then shower and then style it.
