I love Kratos and God of War but the anatomy was my favorite part of the video. It helped tremendously in debating what I'd like to do with my yeard later, my original goal was the Kratos/Ducktail but I am starting to think round/The Boss style. This made me realize I need to research more on full beard styles and beard anatomy. Luckily, I'm only on my 3rd month of the yeard and have plenty of time. Thanks Matty! Incredible video, you slayed the Kratos again.

Late to the party my friend, I apologize for not somehow finding your channel sooner; I’ve been cutting my own hair since marrying my beautiful wife twelve years ago. However I haven’t quite had the patience to grow out my beard to the point where I could shape it and have fun with it. I love what you’ve done here, it kind of reinforces some ideals that I’ve come to know by clipping my head and made me confident that I can do my beard too after another month or two of growth. I use very similar products to fade and outline my own head and the use of the word “flyaway”, I knew immediately what you meant by that and I’d been hesitant to cut those until now. Thanks brother.

This took some courage to try at home going from a square shape to a triangle and having never touched the shelf myself - but it turned out great! Possibly the best beard trim I’ve had and certainly the cheapest haha. I feel like after a week I already want to touch it up tho - does that sound about right? It seems like a different animal just keeping it neat vs a major transition - perhaps a video on general maintenance for those that would prefer to do it once a week to keep it in check rather than wait a month for it to get unruly and then do an overhaul. I am also bald so for me I find i need to touch up my sideburns to fade to bald even after a few days (I shave my head every day) which in turn be throwing off the rest of it as it isn’t all growing in unison

Hello I found out that if you use a second hand for free hand technique you won’t cut in the beard so often making it easier to do your beard. Can you please like this for the love of beard ? So that more people don’t ruin their beards by cutting into them.

Hey, Matty! I highly recommend you invest in a dedicated microphone (if you're not using one already) and a pop filter. The pop filter will shield the microphone from those sudden bursts of air that you can shoot into it when speaking out plosive consonants ( like "p" in the word "pick" at 8:33 ), making your voice-over narrations leveled out and even.

Almoast, the angle on kratos is steeper. The back corners need to be higher and the front pointed more outwards. But I think it also depends on each beard, if it allows that. I'm no pro, just doing my own kratos style for a while, and a had a lot of trial and error untill I got it right.
@mattyconradgrooming Жыл бұрын
The steeper the angle the weaker the front point. More bulk gets removed. As it grew out it maintained the shape perfectly.
