Are all air cadet squadrons issued them now? Ik when I was in army cadets we were issued them and my friend who was in the same city as me was an air cadet and they also got issued them. But he said not all squadrons are and they have to buy them. It's been a while.

Question: though question regarding to the blue uniform and not the field uniform but this is the newest video i found. Regarding the uniform tunic, the top button is never done up, correct? When dose it ever get done up? Has anyone ever done up the top button on the tunic? As long as I can remember, the top button was never done up - ever. Thank you.

@@joeydepalmer4457 Perhaps, given the fact our cadet uniforms are based off WWII RCAF uniforms there probably was a use for it. However in cadets we keep the top button undone so the tie can be seen. Hope this helps.

@@joshmesa9747 sort of and not really. ww2 rcaf uniform where the wool ones like we had in the 1970s. well for the 1st part of cadets anyways, the other was the green uniform of the unification period. this is just one of thoughs cadet/military uniform things that well remain a mystery.

Issuing problems for new kit always been a challenge and my squadron used to have problems with issuing the dress uniform parts. With time every air cadet should have berets like our army cadet counterparts.
