You could have mentioned placing cards in penny sleeves before putting them in binders. And graded cards doesn't necessarily mean there worth more. I found this out on actual grading informational sites. However the real special cards I enjoy getting them graded. You made a great presentation on this. Thanks for sharing. Just subbed to you.👉⚾👈

This was the best video I seen about how to protect and store your cards. Great Video! There are so many different kind of plastics, sleeves and top loaders etc. And they all look identical when you purchase them. But you pacifically went by the brand and showed some of us that don't know what to ask for when we're in the store or looking to ordering. There were just 2 issues I had that I wish you would have covered. What kind of gloves are the best to use for cards before we send them in for grading? If the card is in a penny sleeve and sometimes it's a little tight to put in the top loader, how do we get it in there without damaging the top of are card by pushing it in? Is there any way that you can make a video on each different kind of protection for our cards and the names of them with example like this video? Every time you held up the pack on what you're using I just screenshot it because I'm gonna order them. But thank you for all the info On this video

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad it gave you some help. I like your ideas on potentially making more videos about card protection! I’ll definitely consider it for the future.

New Subscriber...I had a couple of questions and I'm not sure if you covered them in other videos. Like for instance a lot of people have storage units and what's the best way or the best kind of storage container we can get for our cards. For example from having it weatherized from water all the way until the heat or if there's a fireproof case just anything out there that we can use and right now I am on collecting one player of baseball but have well over 1,000 different cards of this player and it is taking up way too much space not counting on the previous players I used to collect. And which is the best grading company and a list of legit rating companies because there's so many ways that people try to get a container and act like it's graded and fooling and I have a really good question about all cards in general

I have a 1982 Topps Baseball set. Looks like thickness of 20pt. If I put in penny sleeves, should I go with 20pt toploaders or the next thickness up? Great video! Thanks!
@EagleMan_TradingCards Жыл бұрын
Good question! I always go one thickness up. Don’t want the card to be jammed into there!

What is your advice for 1955 Topps cards that are a little oversized from standard?

Great question! I usually store them into regular top loaders and place them into a team bag

I got a question why do people say to put a penny sleeve inside a one touch ? When you get a card graded do they also do that ?

I just came across my grandpas pre war cards and they are very valuable. What do you recommend for me to help protect the cards. Right now they are in screw down holders from the 80s.
@EagleMan_TradingCards4 жыл бұрын
Good question! Pre-war cards can be tough to store since their sizes can be different from normal cards. Screw downs work just fine (I even use a few screw downs for my oddly sized cards). I would recommend using the screw downs or carefully placing them in a normal top loader. They do sell special toploaders that are designed for pre-war cards as well. But, the best way to take care of those cards is to get them graded and put into a slab! Hope this information helps you out!

Eagleman Trading Cards thanks! But my dad is to afraid that someone would happen to the cards and they would get lost or something. Kind of a tuff situation here.

Quick question. Do any of these holders have PVC in them? And if so will they damage the cards like coin capsules made from PVC?
@JohnSmith-zw8vp2 ай бұрын
PVC was phased out a few decades ago...I HOPE...

waste of money how much does the company that you will be sending it into charge?
@TrevynPlays4 жыл бұрын
Mark Santucci $50 for two cards. A waste of money? 😂 the two cards I sent if they come back PSA 10’s that’s $2,500 $2,450 profit.
@marksantucci42304 жыл бұрын
@@TrevynPlays are these guys Football players or Baseball players? anyways using your numbers if you get sgc to grade them there only 20.00 for the 2 cards if you stuck the 2 cards in either hard plastics, screw downs, snap its or one touches you would get more money back by not sending them off to get graded you look at the card analyze and put the fair price on the card. I've seen those yoyo's make mistakes wrong years wrong player and some cards that are graded the wrong numbers 2,500 makes more sense than the 2,450. save yourself some money I wouldn't get them graded? the only thing the grading does is guarantee a number you could let your customer look at the card and show him that it's a 10 now you would save 50.00? if the card comes back an 8.5 tell the customer the card is an 8.5 this is the value so you see your not making any more money by getting the card graded your loosing 50.00 I know what your saying but it's guaranteed so what your still loosing 50.00 ?

There actually called hard plastics I did shows back in the 90's with my friend and at the supply table they had hard plastics written on the box NOT top loaders but hard plastics? the 200 count , 800 count are storage boxes under there own name, the other ones the 1600 and 3200 are monster boxes? 100 count lucite cases? I actually have a question about protecting cards what do you think about screw downs I've seen a couple of collectors say that screw downs can damage your card is there any evidence or are collectors trying to give that new protector called a one touch a chance? do you have any video's that show evidence of any cards getting damaged? is this true or myth ?

Is it not recommended to store 18 cards per binder page? Back to back in the sleeve?
@JohnSmith-zw8vp2 ай бұрын
No way, high risk of dinging corners and worst of all you can't see the back of the cards!
