J.D., terrific story of Gray v. Bell. Both great inventors, and both actually ended up doing ok - Gray founding the Western Electric Company. Super-engaging video. Not sure how I missed this one earlier. 😊

is it possible to protect a new idea on a video filter, which each software producer could program in their own way? so basically it's a new algorithm idea for something which existed before, but making it so much better
@boldpatents2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. As long as the process/method that you have come up with is novel and not an obvious iteration from something that’s already published/patented, it would be patentable. Schedule a free intro call here: calendly.com/business-consultations/am06-youtube

Is it necessary to take a step towards protecting your idea when going through the prototype process ? How can I protect my idea when working with a company who will work on my prototype.
@boldpatents2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can definitely research and protect your invention with a provisional patent application in most cases. Your idea must be thought out well enough to be at the "invention" stage. Meaning, even if its not built yet, you could describe it in enough detail such that someone could. If you're there - you ought to file. There's no award for first to invent, but instead, whoever is first to file. Set up a 15 min screening session today: calendly.com/business-consultations/am06-youtube

Together we can incorporate all my ideas into real life. You pay to patent it all in my name, make it, and then sell it all over the world. You have business people, companies, you are experienced in everything. Let's agree on everything and how much to take a percentage of the sales of my inventory products.
