I would recommend to remove the spare tire to allow access above it. My Ram rusted there and the tire winch rusted and had to be replaced.

Great tip! I just sprayed up between the wheel holes. Unfortunately I can't remove my wheel as I don't have the lowering lever, my truck didn't come with that or a jack. Been meaning to pick that stuff from the wrecking yard.

Smart man I've used pro form on my 1st gen ram amd my early bkdy style 3rd gen ram for a few years very underrated stuff. I no longer have my 3rd gen bjt ill use it on all my stuff they say corrosion free is good stuff too

4:56 I would think better than ramps would be jacks at all four corners . And the best if possible to use a mechanics lift as found in repair shops . Might be a self serve oil change place in your area that has these . And to use full lighting as in specialized to see everything and anything . Could also use a headlamp .

How well would you say the previous method worked? Would you use the previous one, then this one in subsequent years?

The first one I used as a base as it had wax. The wax provides a more durable layer than compared to an oil spray and would be ideal on something with no or very minimal rust. It held up great, it was still present on the frame before applying this coating. As mentioned in this video, I would recommend the previous coating for a start, then follow up with oil either every or every other year depending on what your vehicle is exposed to and how well it holds up.
