I planted a new Autumn joy last year and might get another this spring. Love these plants and I love how the bees really appreciate them!

So true!!! The bees love love love them. I watched them all summer. I decided to cut them back today because they looked a little moldy - we had tons of rain this year. I know they will come back next year. Love them………as much as the 🐝 bees….lol.

Also my question to you is are those seeds at the top of the plant? Can you use that for propagation or do you just root them in water in a glass. I've done that before.

Its a magnificent, informative video. I have just 3 questions: what becomes of the stubs left after pruning - do they just die away? What would happen if you didn't chop off the dead stalks? Can you prune the Sedum at any other time of year, and if so, is the method different? Thanks!

Hey Simonzon! In answer: Yes, exactly. It looks terrible and the new stalks don't look pretty coming up around all that mess. At another time of year you need to watch out for new growth and not chop anything still green, so no hedgers - you're using hand pruners. Good luck!

FYI, I cannot hear what you're saying even with headphones on. I do have some hearing loss but can normally here KZbin videos without headphones. This one is too faint to hear -- for me, at least (and yes, I checked all settings). Thought you'd want to know for future.
