oh my god thank you so much. ive been trying to make my own manga for like a year now and when ever i upload to webtoons im always smashing my head on the desk because webtoons forces you downscale your manga to the point it loses all quality. ive been searching for an alternative for a year but always got back just tapas and even twitch. but after going to the 5th page of google results i found this video. thank you, i finally have a place to upload my manga that wont require me to make it look like it was drawn on an mp3 player screen from 2006

@@ghosteye17 well that's basically impossible but there are 2 ways, You can publish the manuscript reversed so the back of the book will go where the cover is and the last page will technically be the first page, that's what I did But you can also publish it upside down which is what I'll try with another manga So you publish it like a normal book but the cover is upside down, the manuscript is upside down too It depends if it bothers you if the barcode is on the cover If it doesn't bother you publish the first way, if it does bother you, publish the second way

My capstone project got rejected. It's supposed to be a visual novel (game development is the main focus of my course). The story is complete with character designs. No the first 3 chapters will get counted as a part of the competition, from chapter 4 and on, they will be just uploaded but they will not be counted in the contest. U can't get money unless u win something

Don’t publish online if u actually hope to get into bookstores one day. Online publishing leads millions artists nowhere, just a dopamine trap.

Until you are able to make mangas that make it into bookstores, you need to make a lot of bad manga first, and one of the best ways to get feedback that will make u improve, is to publish it online. But I get where you are coming from. Online publishing is definitely not the end goal

But it's not like book publisher will take your comic/novel right away. If you r lucky then yeah , within first 3 tries you will get it but if not then you might even have to wait 7-8 years to finally get picked up. Atleast in online one has the advantage of getting their story out there. Which unless u r rich or have a publishing company you won't get a chance in offline publishing.
