That screw-in fitting will be a godsend. Thank you for sharing that. I'm going to pick up my own to have on hand. Also spray down the valves with disinfectant. Use gloves. Have a small trash bag and a rag or two with you while doing the dirty work. Good video,very helpful. Especially the rinsing/flushing and final pumpout until its clear. Again thanks for the tips.

I didn’t know about a screw on adapter. Thank you

Screw adapter is worth it. Pump out with low suction cam take some time. Adapter saved pushing down and keeping it sealed. Highly recommend.

Rural King and Tractor Supply sell those adapters.

You mention good bacteria in your tank. What product are you using?

Happy Campers RV toilet treatment works good and is cheaper than Noflex Digester.

Do you run the macerator during the pump out process or not?
@aboardagape63907 ай бұрын
No. The macerator pumps the tank overboard but the pump out from a dock the hose is a big vacuum and sucks out the tank contents.

@@aboardagape6390 Thanks but I only have 1 waste connection port on the boat. its a screw fitting on the side about 6 inches above the water line. I typically use a bellows type TW macerator to pump over board to a hose to a sewer connection when I am trailering. To use a dock side pump out it would have to pump through the macerator. Would the macerator be harmed?
