Hi Eddie, great videos thanks. Many ppl say however, NOT to put bleach in the black water holding tank. It kills all the bacteria that breaks down the waste (as in a septic tank) AND there are indications from some ppl that there could be an amount of ammonia from urine in the tank that when mixed with bleach, could produce a very noxious gas.

You don't need to stick the house in the water to prime the pump. Diaphragm pumps are self priming and build good suction quickly

But you definitely need to stick the hose in AFTER you pump out to clean the nozzle and shit before racking it....that way when then next guy or gal grabs the nozzle none of the shit pours out!

1 yes it smells A LOT 2 the wastewater tank is taken to a sewer system to dump it

Hi, great vids you make Eddie. Question. When pumping out the waste are there any valves you need to open when pumping out so that the waste tank doesn't collapse due to the pump out, or do the waste tanks have vents to prevent this?

Don’t do that. Never put bleach in a black tank. You want bacteria in a septic system.

BrokenPixel. It is really up to you. Some people Hold off until it’s full. But the Cleaner you keep it. the less smell you’ll get. Coming out of the vent. 🤢

Sorry for the delay. That’s a question you would have to figure out yourself. I don’t know the size of the holding tank. Or know how many people will be on the boat. And more Importantly how many beers are going to be drinking. Lol 🤔.

The sink drain goes directly out the side of the boat. So it’s is probably some food and stuff caked on the side of the hose going out. try putting some bleach down the dream. Or it could just be The smell from the water outside. Good luck

I put a Gallon of antifreeze. I flush it down bowl. so it fills up the vacuum flush system. and goes into the holding tank. The bleach is used to keep it as clean as possible. so I don’t get that much for stink. At the beginning of the season.
