Important punch needle tips:
- Keep slack in the yarn while working
- Keep eye of the needle pointing towards your last punch
- Keep punches close together
- To undo a mistake, simply pull the yarn out, scratch the fabric back into place and re-punch

Thank you so much . I’ve been wanting to make tiny items 2.5 x 3x 5 and boy using monks cloth hadn’t been working for me. Nor has my punch needle and my 4 yarn . I’ve been very frustrated . Thank you so much, your explanation was awesome and I’m really happy, my mother in law bought me a punch embroidery kit, it does have its fabric, yarn, needle, threader. Some explanation hints but I think your explanation is better. The design is flowers and leaves. I normally do cross stitch and I wondered if she meant to buy that instead but never mind it’s something to try. Well the fabric is very different from cross stitch fabric. Wish me luck and I hope to even send you a picture of my project.
