Great video. Question for a high school kid I’m currently working with. His question is exactly where is he starting drop from. As he’s holding it out. Like from his waist line Mid thigh or where. 2nd. He booms the ball but it’s from strait up instead of down field like he kicks high n like 35/40 yards instead of 50+. Plz help n thx awesome channel

Hey boss! 1) it’s middle ab height right over the punting leg. 2) it’s most likely his shoulders getting too tall too quick! Keep them forward more!

Hey coach my other problem is that even when I put my shoulders first I strike too up on the ball and the ball goes really high but not far. Would you have an idea of what I’m doing wrong and have a drill of some sorts to help? Thanks

When should you drop the ball? I see some guys dropping when their foot touches the ground and some guys dropping before

Ideally as the plant foot is hitting the ground or right before. Everyone may be a bit varied but that’s ideal!
