Hey mate, just want to give a quick message as to how helpful you and your channel have been for me over the past couple of years. I'm a second year Mechatronics Engineering student at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia and stumbled upon your channel early last year while trying to learn some Inventor features that I needed for a CAD project. I binged your videos that night, learning as much as I could and ended up getting a high distinction for that class largely due to the help your videos provided. While there may be some creators out there that share the same information in their videos as yours, your witty humour provides for an entertaining watching experience which I believe plays a big part in how well the information sinks in as I don't find myself zoning out like I would for a professor droning on in a monotone voice. I was a film student for a year out of high school because I wasn't sure what I wanted to pursue as a career but I found my calling in Engineering. Thanks for helping me pursue my dream. As long as you're still making videos, I'll be subscribed!

Thanks for taking the time to make and post this video. I was looking to do just this (of course) but also learned you can drag a plane from a surface for a new sketch. Wish I'd known that all along. Handy. I'm informal user and not formally trained and had missed that feature. Thanks again.

I didn't even know that I didn't know how to do that before I saw this video! These videos have been super useful over the past few months!

You can make the dome tangent on the cylinder end as well if you are looking for a smooth transition. It can also be weighted to change the curve.

That's something they should add as a standalone option. Like in SolidWorks.

How much space would I need on a NAS to store a 3d car assembly?
@Neil3D6 жыл бұрын
There is no answer to that, depends how much of the car is modelled and using what program. I have a car assembly and it's around 1GB but others could be smaller
