How To Put An Electrical Outlet Hole In Granite

Sorry for the focus issues on the video the camera was being a little numb! This is how to put an outlet hole in a piece of granite. There may be different ways but this is the easiest way I have found. If anyone else has any other ways of putting an outlet in granite please comment and let me know! I am kicking myself for putting all the outlets at the granite back splash height. Wish i put them above. yay, 15 of these to do now. oooops. Thanks for the video. I have boxes in the walls. I dont think i need to install the boxes. I am just going to use the granite as an 'extension' of the box. Any problems with that? Then i only have to do 2 core holes for the outlets. Thoughts?

how do you secure the outlet? i have holes cut in my backslash but the metal box is pretty loose in there

senexon I use a layer of akeemi around the box and a couple screws into the studs.
