@billy-boyplays81802 жыл бұрын
No problem at all. It sounds like it’s dead. You can either charge it and follow the steps from my video, or you should be able to hold the top piece as I show here, and manually twist the other moveable piece at the top to loosen or tighten the bit. It is an honor to be able to help you and is the purpose for me to make videos like this. I never had someone to show me how this all works and have taught myself. So I figured I’d try to help others. Hope you have a great evening!

How do I release the black piece holding the nails in. Does the drill need to be battery charged and working to actually remove it. I just wasn’t to take nails but i feel lost with this thing. These are Milwaukee drills . One with no charge or power is the DriverDrill that has that black piece holding the nail that the one that is functional is naked and without one. I assume the Impact Drill would also need the same to undrill my nails . Correct? If so what to do???
@billy-boyplays81802 жыл бұрын
Do you mean the drill bits? If you are, the drill being charged would help you out a lot. You flip the switch to run it in reverse, while holding the black piece at the front of the drill. If it’s not charged, you can hold the black piece at the front of the drill like in this video, and manually twist the part the spins at the top. I hope this helps. Watch in this video how I take these out. If the drill isn’t charged, put it in the reverse position and manually twist that piece that spins at the top.
@rubieallee6 ай бұрын
Thank you. Very easy to follow. What if you want to take a screw out? 😢
@billy-boyplays81806 ай бұрын
@@rubieallee you would put the bit in that you need (either flat or the cross style-Phillips) with my instructions in this video, then flip the switch near the trigger to the reverse position, and unscrew the screw. I hope that was clear enough for you. Thank you for the kind words as well. 😁
@rubieallee6 ай бұрын
@@billy-boyplays8180thats what i thought. But when I switch it to reverse to take it out, the bit loosens.
@billy-boyplays81806 ай бұрын
@@rubieallee okay, so when you switch it to reverse to drill, don’t hold the end as I do in this video. When drilling, you shouldn’t touch the end that locks the bit in place. You only need to do that when changing out the bit and that’s all.

I’m having an issue with mine. It’s not allowing me to release my drill bit, does that mean it’s broken?
@billy-boyplays81803 ай бұрын
@@KiaLindsay no, so to release the bit, make sure the drill is in reverse with the small button by the trigger, hold your hand on the black plastic on the end of the drill and press the trigger. So this drill did not come equip with a drill bit correct?
@billy-boyplays8180 Жыл бұрын
This specific drill didn’t come with the bit, no. I had bought the bit separately. But sometimes you can find drills packaged with some drill bits. Usually most come with a bit that has a Phillips end and a flathead end on each side. But don’t bank on that. Buy a few that you need just in case. Check the packaging of the drill to be sure. I got this drill used, so it didn’t come with anything but the battery and charger.

@@billy-boyplays8180 thank you Sir I found that piece, can I drill directly into wood with the Phillips screwdriver end of the bit?
@billy-boyplays8180 Жыл бұрын
@@judahlion3330 no, if you are wanting to drill a hole, you will have to get a different type of bit. The bit you will need will be a long cork screw shaped piece. Around 3-4 inches long. An alternative, you can use the Phillips bit if you are using screws. That method you can simply put the Phillips bit in, hold the screw where you want it, and start applying the power of the drill. If you try to use the Phillips bit directly into wood, the hole will not look good and it could ruin your Phillips bit.
