Broke my patella clean into. I'll be wearing mine for the next 2-3 months. Its a pain cause it constantly slides down. Surgery is tomorrow. Hope im fitted for a different one.

I’m on my second one after surgery to repair a ruptured quadriceps tendon. The second brand is slightly better than the first, but only slightly. It seems to me the only way to slow the brace sliding down is to have what amounts to suspenders for it. Perhaps something like a climber’s harness with a couple straps that attach to the top of the brace. Not unlike a garter belt that holds up stockings.

straighten your leg as much as possible when you put it on. I also make sure the strap right above the knee is pretty tight. good luck James

Tore my ACL. Its a grade 2 tear as per the MRI. Doc suggested me to wear the immobilizer for 6 weeks. Turns out I was wearing the mobilizer wrong. I used to wear it a bit on the upper side of the leg 1:36 covering the knee.

I dislocated my patellar well I was at work I managed to balance myself and not fall. This thing is stupid they never put it on properly at the hospital it fell to bottom of my leg then when they fit it me again it just keeps falling down. I’v tried to adjust it but no matter what I do it slides down my leg 🦵 😡😡 it’s been 2 days of wearing it I can’t cope with this 🤦🏻‍♀️

I just broke my femur. The longest bone in your body for the second time. In my life so I have a battle thing in there and the second time I fell. They put me in and I'm a mobilizer. Because you know the leg has to stay straight and it has to stay on there. I can open it app and clean and I have to put it back, but it's gonna be on me for about 6 to 8 weeks and it's only been like 2 and a 1/2 weeks now. Just interesting to read your others.Thank you

Depends largely on the specific injury. After surgery to repair a ruptured quadriceps tendon, I could take the brace off only to bathe. Sleeping with it on was a huge problem. I was lucky to get 4 hrs/night. That lasted six weeks.

I need to sit to put it on but the knee won’t bend in the brace which means I can’t go from sitting to standing!! Pointless!! I’m sure I’ll need surgery.

cope depends on your injury ,ask the doctor don't wear it by yourself

By the time the patient gets out the clinic door, the brace will have slipped down the leg. 😮
