How to put Pixel XL into Fastboot, Recovery Mode, and Bootloader Mode

How to put the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones into Fastboot mode for side loading updates, Recovery Mode for performing factory resets and Bootloader mode. You can also run graphics tests from this area although this is just how to get into these modes and what to do when you see a dead android and the "no command" errors. Im stuck on the loading page (black with G). I’ve gotten from the dead robot screen to the Recovery menu BUT after choosing factory reset I’m still stuck on loading page. Should I just b going to Recovery from this menu?

Attempting to go into recovery mode i get a message "Your device software can't be checked for corruption. Please lock the bootloader." (Orange) and the screen turns black and attempts to "ram dump" issue will loop. I would then hold power and volume down to get back to fast boot. not sure how to get into recovery mode or even how to get back to the original phone. any help would be appreciated

so i accidentally installed lineage os rom on worng slot and was stuck in boot loop but managed to reflash to toher slot and all fine. Will anything happen to the other slot that was accidentally flashed?

So my Google Pixel won't turn on or boot up into recovery mode. It has been charging all night so power is not an issue. When I woke up the phone screen was frozen on the Google logo and was warm to the touch. I managed to power of the phone and know it is pretty much dead. Any ideas?

If your power button does not work you will need to connect your phone to a PC, install phone’s adb drivers from manufacturer, install adb interface and browse to the adb folder. In there, press Shift and right click. Select “Open command prompt here” and type in ‘adb reboot recovery’. Thats the gist of it but is more complicated.
