Hi Dear When sewing, fabric doesn't run (or move smoothly) if you don't pull it because of the way sewing machines are designed. Here's why: 1. *Feed dogs*: Sewing machines have feed dogs, which are teeth-like mechanisms that grip and move the fabric forward as you sew. However, they only work effectively when the fabric is being pulled gently. 2. *Friction*: Fabric has natural friction, which can cause it to resist moving smoothly under the needle. If you don't pull the fabric, this friction can cause the fabric to bunch up or drag. 3. *Tension*: Sewing machines have tension discs that help control the thread's tension. If the fabric isn't being pulled, the tension can become uneven, causing the fabric to pucker or distort. By gently pulling the fabric as you sew, you: - Help the feed dogs grip the fabric more effectively - Reduce friction and prevent bunching - Maintain even tension for smooth stitching Remember to pull the fabric gently, as excessive force can cause distortion or damage to the fabric or machine. Hi MOMINA KHAN, There can be a number of reasons . However here's some basic idea's of the common problems that can cause this. 1) Most common is a thread can be stuck inside . Please check and remove if this Is the issue. 2) There can be knots or small tangles in the thread. 3) Make sure the tension is correct. 4) Check the spool is moving freely. 5) Check needle is fine, it can also cause the thread not to move freely Hope this helps and your machine gets sorted.

Hi There is a Presser foot kit for Brother GS3700. Which comes with Multiple Foot's. Yes a generic Ruffler foot can work on this machine. However you will have to make sure to find the correct one that fits on the shank. It is advised that the Brother ruffler foot are used by the F420 Machine. Thank you.
