Nice video. For Crepe material ,satin which tension need to selected. Loops are coming on upperpart while stitching crepe material. Tried all but the problem is still not resolved . Can u please help to fix this issue ?🙏

Correct tension is important as too much or too little tension will weaken the seams or cause puckers on the fabric. If the bobbin thread was incorrectly threaded, the upper thread may be too tight. In this case loops appear on surface of fabric. Reduce the tension by turning the upper tension control dial to a lower number. If the upper thread was incorrectly threaded the upper thread may be too loose. In this case loops appear on back of fabric. Increase the tension by turning the upper tension control dial to a higher number.

What tension and needle we use for stitching denims cloth

We have to adjust the tension of the upper thread depending upon the fabric.Correct tension is important as too much or too little tension will weaken the seams or cause puckers on fabric. If loops appear on the surface of the fabric,reduce the tension by turning the upper tension control dial to a lower level . If loops appear on the back of the fabric increase the tension to a higher number. Do a test sample on scrap of a fabric before you start sewing. Use 100/16 needle size for thick fabrics like denim with 30 - 50 size thread.Regular needle size is 90/14 that is for medium weight fabrics.
