I appreciate the video! I've been driving trucks for 11 yrs. 1/2 of that was OTR and thankfully, I've never had to throw chains on a truck. Mainly due to no forced dispatch. I was able to avoid ares where I might need them. However, there's a downside to that as well. That's lack of experience in throwing chains! Consequently, I'm a bit gun shy about having to do it. I find keeping a solid block of wood handy and backing onto it using the inner drives elevated truck enough to fully engage chain. Also might invest it a bottle jack… you’re welcome

Great tutorial Brother as one who's never lived anywhere I needed chains, now that I'm with TMC the possibility is there for sure. The tightening tool should come with each bag of chains. They have them for sale at truckstops as well.
