We had a guy experience a load shift who had dunnage strapped to his catwalk. Don't know if he's still with us or not, but every incoming rookie sees that picture during orientation
@EruditeTrucker4 сағат бұрын
Dang, that's no good. The catwalk is definitely not the place for the dunnage.

I never seen a company reward its drivers for passing DOT inspections. Thats pretty awesome and like you said a quick C-note for a 25min inspection.. how long does your company take to pay you the $100, and is there a limit to how many inspections they'll pay you for in a certain time frame? What happens if you get checked twice in one week by DOT and you pass? Will your company pay you $200?
@EruditeTrucker8 сағат бұрын
@eldiablo3794 They typically pay the following week. The company will pay you for every inspection that you successfully pass, so if you are inspected by DOT multiple times in a week, you will be paid separately for each one.

DOT are scumbags. Big scam to steal from truckers and give our money for hookers and blow for the local govt criminals.

140 pounds is nothing to worry about. Loaded a tanker in NYS 79800 gross perfect. Got into Virginia 500 over on the drives, tank loaded wrong.

I used to drive for FREYMILLER Trucking. Anytime we had overage or damaged, they encouraged us to donate the product. Every receiver where I had product left on truck was willing to assist me in finding a local resource willing to take the product.

This can also significantly increase the weight of the load, depending how wet it got of course, putting you overweight if you have to hit the scales for a D.O.T inspection.

CYA: Cover your ass. Words to live by in any line of work. Other people will tell you that "it's all good" and "don't worry about it" when they're not going to be the ones suffering the consequences if they're wrong.
@EruditeTrucker2 күн бұрын
That is the truth! People can be very quick to dismiss issues when they won't be negatively impacted if something goes wrong.

I wish that you checked on that driver, but instead of actually checking that they're ok, you went over there to call them a "big dummy"
@JC0093Күн бұрын
There is no evidence that he didn't check on the driver? How do you figure he went to him and called him a big dummy?

Eggs are chicken periods. Dairy/Cows milk is for baby cows. I see nothing appetizing nor healthy about those things. Saturated fat, dietary cholesterol, trans fat, and the animal protein alone cause negative health outcomes in humans. Heart disease, hormonal cancers, erectile dysfunction, type 2 diabetes, ischemic strokes, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and depression are some of those causal negative health outcomes. I’m sticking with the fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and legumes which are causally associated with best health outcomes for humans.
