This was so enjoyable. First of all, that blazer is so gorgeous and high quality that no matter what you would do to it, it makes a great anchor piece. I live in Los Angeles and so I have to wait until we finally get some cooler weather to drag out any jacket at all. I just picked up a Blanc Noir moto to start with and am building around it right now, but I have a blue wool and silk gorgeous blazer I got at Bergdorfs awhile back that I am going to use so I can match this video, step by step. The trends always shift and change, but that is the exact reason I always say to spend 80% of your wardrobe budget on quality basics and only 20% on the trends that you love. Those basics will last for years and years, especially if they're a good quality. Of course it probably wouldn’t hurt me to give myself an allowance of a little extra time to try things out and see how they look together. And also I really have to get so many things tailored. But I do like leaving my pants long and then I roll them up underneath two times. If you roll them up once underneath they come right down but two times they stay. And then when I do wanna wear higher heels I just roll them down again. (A hint for my petite paisanas)

Flares and loose fit are actually easier for pairing boots. You can go with a short one that ends below the hem of the jean (for more cropped styles) or one with a taller shaft that goes under the jean. Just make sure that the top of the boot and the hem line don't hit at exactly the same place. That is where it can get tricky.
