Could not have installed the blind without this video. One of the best instructionables I have seen. As others have stated the instructions that come with the blinds are less than useless.

Thank you for this video! I watched so many that just brushed over the measuring instructions! So glad I watched more and found you, otherwise it could have been a disaster! I've just watched 4 or 5 videos about installing roller blinds, and this one is the only one that made sense of the matter of cutting to width. The abysmal instructions issue applies equally if not more so to blinds from John Lewis. Great video.

So glad I found your video. I’ve got one with the same inadequate paper instructions that say nothing about the measurements you need to allow when cutting down the width. You have explained it so clearly. I’m going to get my husband to have a watch too so between us I’m confident we’ll get the blind altered and fitted today. Thank you.

Very informative video. Clearly a lot of fine detail required with the fitting. As a result, I decided not to risk my DIY skills (!), and instead employ an experienced handyman.

So great to hear a pro say the b and q I are auctions are baffling - absolutely couldn’t have written them to be more confusing if they were trying to write a confusing instruction manual :) thanks for making it clear. It’s meant the second blind I buy will fix my mess of the first!

Nicely done, I agree these blinds are not very good, our ones lasted for a couple years. Then the pulley broke.
