Im not sure if windows had an update that changed anything but, when I did exactly what you did I kept getting a syntax error. all I did was put the second drive in quotes as well and it worked. thanks for the video.

If you put the second drive in quotes, that should create a folder. (That's why I have you delete the original Maps folder) I highly doubt there has been an update to change it, as (as far as I'm aware) it's been the same for years. maybe you spelled something wrong, or put a (space) in your second drive. Is there a shortcut icon on your second drive maps folder?

@@pmstuff8420 it created a shortcut folder in the same place yours did and it works. Idk. If my main drive fills up and not my secondary then I did it wrong. Fingers crossed

It's difficult to say, I would assume you just wrote something wrong. The only way I really know to help you for sure is to hop into a call with you or something and helping you there.

Copy all your maps that exist to a different folder, then delete the original map folder. Then it should work

Have you tried making a server with your friends? I can never get together with them kick them off the server after 10 seconds ...

Nah, my ISP or my router was very unhappy with what I was doing and incoming traffic was probably blocked by some automatic safety feature. What I did was I just decided to patreon SilentBaws (the creator of the multiplayer mod) 25 bucks a month so he could get me a private server. But if you want to do it yourself, you should probably ask in #help in the modding server!

Hey thanks for this! Question! If i want to switch it back, can i just delete the folder in my other drive or do i need to use the command prompt to unlink it?

If you want to switch it back, then I would recommend putting the maps in a temporary place (maybe just C:User:Documents:SkaterXL) , then deleting the Maps folder in the secondary drive, and make Maps in your C: drive again and moving them there. You don't have to use command prompt to get rid of it. just remember that if you've done this, the maps folder in your C: drive is basically a fake folder, putting your maps in there will just put it back in the other drive.

I'm not really sure, sorry. Try to not run as administrator, and run as user instead.

It works with gear aswell! Just change out "Maps" for "Gear" and you're good!
