You touched on my issue #4 but didn't elaborate on how to depressurize hoses after they are disconnected from the frame and pump! I always have one hose being difficult to connect to the frame or pump fittings! When I depressurize hoses after the car is on the ground - I count 10 to 15 seconds instead of just 5 because popping them off but, still one hose feels like it's still pressurize when I try to reconnect them days of weeks later. I'm assuming I need to push on the flat faces with a blunt tool and let pressure escape that way? Last week I had to force one hose more aggressively on the power unit and now the fitting on the hose and pump are stuck open and leaking. I can see an O-ring on the hose fitting crushed. Luckily my jack in only 3 months old and getting fittings replaced under warranty. Thanks

Ok, I saw a answer below. You still depressurize the long hose when one end is disconnected from the frame - got it. I thought there was a way to do it while disconnected from the power unit and frame. I will try the extra step of depressurizing long hose again after I disconnect it from the frame. Hopefully this will solve my anxiety of difficulties connecting them in the future

Hello good day you can remove the hose after you put it up and secured the lock? It’s safe to do that?
@quickjackusa6 жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes, it is perfectly safe to disconnect the hoses once the safety locks are engaged. Just remember to depressurize those hoses before disconnecting!!

How can the leader hoses be depressurized if they already disconnected?
@quickjackusa3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the question! Depressurizing the the main hoses may be enough to reconnect even with the leader hoses still pressurized. However, if the hoses still do not connect, you would need to use a wrench to loosen the leader hose fitting to manually bleed off that pressure. Once the frames are safely lowered, the system would need to be re-bled. If you have any questions about the process please feel free to contact our support team at (888) 262-3880 or submit a support ticket at this link: help.quickjack.com/support/tickets/new

What may be the sign when the "air" pressure (50-psi) is low and what may be the consequence for the two (2) air chambers having different pressure level (within how much psi difference is acceptable)?
@quickjackusa5 жыл бұрын
A sign that you may have low or uneven pressure in the cylinders would be the QuickJack frames descending unevenly. The air cylinders exist as "helpers" to the hydraulic cylinders in that they help slow the descent of the frames. Additionally, during the break-in period of the hydraulic cylinders the air pressure will keep the hydraulic cylinders from sticking while lifted. Hey Max Is it ok to leave the hoses connected overnight or longer if not is use?
@quickjackusa5 жыл бұрын
It absolutely is OK to leave the hoses connected when not in use! Just make sure not to drive over them and it's always a good idea to depressurize them just in case you do disconnect them while the lift is still up.

My hose was pinched under the lift and I had an insane amount of trouble getting the car off the lift because one side (the pinched hose side) wouldn't go down. It almost flipped my car on its side. I was told to get a new hose to replace it but is the unit still pressurized? I may have a free lift if someone is interested

You said the long hose can be de-pressurized even when it's already disconnected, but you did not explain how?!!! Are we talking about loosening the connector from the hose?
@quickjackusa5 жыл бұрын
The long hose can be depressurized when disconnected from the frames, but still connected to the power unit. It's the same procedure, just press the down button for about 5 seconds. Any fluid in the lines will return to the reservoir in the power unit and excess pressure will be relieved.
@quickjackusa5 жыл бұрын
Depressurizing the hoses is done simply by holding the down button for 5 seconds once the QuickJack is lowered onto a locking position or when completely lowered. However a hose should not be able to disconnect on its own when properly connected to the power unit. The hose you supply with your TL quickjacks could be more pliable and not so cheap please. It has a memory of a circle, will not go straight, and wants to pull the pump over from wanting to be a circle, when stretching it out. takes 4 times as long to try to stretch out the hose to get to the car than it does to put the jacks in position. Frustrating, when you just want to quickly put the car up.
